Originally built in the 19th century. Conceived as a place of health promotion, the SCHWEIZER MILCHKURANSTALT has evolved over time into a popular destination.
Today, the Biergarten combines the unique atmosphere of its past with modern comfort and a diverse menu.
From hearty barbecue specials, vegan dishes to freshly baked cakes for the little hunger, the menu has something to suit every taste. There's also a wide range of refreshing drinks, including fresh beer on tap, sweet wines and fruity sodas.
So we are not only a popular meeting place for cozy rounds with friends & family - from March to October you can expect a variety of open air events as well as from November to January culinary pleasure and magical ambience in our WINTERGARTEN!

OUR OFFERS
Our wines and sparkling wines are hand-picked by the wine shop BASTA from Magdeburg. From sparkling Riesling to fruity Rosé, you'll find a great selection.
As a beer garden, we've got a great selection of beers. On tap you'll find our favourites from the local Brauhaus Brewckau and Brauhaus Riegele, complemented by a great selection of bottled beers.
In addition to alcoholic drinks, we also have various non-alcoholic drinks, such as the organic lemonades from Völkel, which we buy from the Getränkefeinkost in Magdeburg, as well as other delicious soft drinks.
With us only the best meat from the meat factory Kroll from Magdeburg comes on the grill - from lean to coarse sausages everyone will find a treat here.
Our grill is complemented by classic beer garden dishes.
Here you will find a daily fresh and changing selection of homemade cakes and delicious pies from the pastel flower coffee from Magdeburg. The best coffee in town from the KRÖM coffee roastery is not to be missed.

Our baked goods always come fresh from the bakery Möhring from Magdeburg to your plate.

What a beautiful ambiance ✨ refreshingly different. The scent of the wood and the high-quality, sometimes different foods of a Christmas market invited to linger a vegan kale pan with tofu ~ as well as vegan pizza 👌🏼 from basta for us 🍕So delicioussss 🍷
Very nice beer garden in a central location with views of the Elbe and Magdeburg Cathedral. Ideal in summer.Something special is the small Christmas market with many delicious things and drinks.
Just a nice place nice staff delicious food and drink highly recommended.
